What Wondercraft Is
Wondercraft generates finished episodes from a script or document: you write or paste text, cast AI voices, add music, and export. It is often confused with Descript, but Descript edits audio you recorded, while Wondercraft creates audio (and now video) that was never recorded.
Wondercraft started as an AI podcast generator and now sells itself as an audio and video studio: alongside script-to-episode audio, its pricing page lists video editing, avatars, text-to-video and 4K upscaling. The script editor lets you assign a voice to each speaker, adjust pacing and insert music without audio engineering knowledge. Usage is metered in credits rather than minutes, so check the credit cost of the voices and video options you plan to use before committing to a plan.
